Jessica Neptune is Associate Director of National Programs for the Bard Prison Initiative and Director of BPI’s Chicago office. She was an American Council of Learned Societies Public Fellow with the US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, where she worked on the Obama Administration’s Federal Interagency Reentry Council. She has written for the Journal of the Social History of Alcohol and Drugs and the Journal of Social History.
