Sam Stephenson’s next book, Gene Smith’s Sink, will be published in August by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. A North Carolina native and longtime resident of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, Stephenson now lives with his family in Bloomington, Indiana.
