Alhelí Harvey is a PhD candidate in Latina/o Studies at the University of Texas at Austin where her research and teaching focus on Latinx cultural landscapes, consumer spaces, and literary urbanism. Her dissertation tracks the development of “enchantment” in New Mexico’s tourism industry and built environment.
