Beatrice Jauregui is Research Fellow, Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, and co-editor of Anthropology and Global Counterinsurgency (2010). She is completing a book manuscript titled “Policing Paradoxes: Disempowered State Authorities in India,” and producing a documentary film about the cultural figure of the US combat veteran titled American Communion.
