Christina Soto van der Plas is an assistant professor of Hispanic studies at the University of California, Riverside. She has published in academic volumes on Latin American literature, psychoanalysis, and critical theory. She writes travel chronicles and essays and just published her first book, Curaçao: Costa de cemento, pueblo de prisión (Fondo Editorial Tierra Adentro, 2019). icon
