Clayton Childress is an associate professor in the department of sociology at University of Toronto. He is the author of Under the Cover: The Creation, Production, and Reception of a Novel (Princeton University Press, 2017), which won the 2018 Mary Douglas Prize for Best Book from the Sociology of Culture section of the American Sociological Association.
