Corey Creekmur is an associate professor in both the Department of English and the Department of Cinema and Comparative Literature at the University of Iowa. He is currently the secretary of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies and General Editor of the “Comics Culture” book series for Rutgers University Press. His publications and research interests include work on representations of race, gender, and sexuality in American popular culture, popular Hindi cinema, and comics.
