Daniel Williams is an assistant professor of literature at Bard College. He works on 19th-century British literature and contemporary South African literature. Recent articles have appeared in ELH, Genre, Nineteenth-Century Contexts, Studies in the Novel, and Safundi. He is coediting a special issue of Poetics Today on “Logic and Literary Form.”
