David Wittenberg teaches English, comparative literature, and cinema at the University of Iowa. He is the author of Philosophy, Revision, Critique: Rereading Practices in Heidegger, Nietzsche, and Emerson (2001) and Time Travel: The Popular Philosophy of Narrative (2013), and is working on a new book, “Big Culture: Toward an Aesthetics of Magnitude.”
