Derritt Mason is an assistant professor of English at the University of Calgary, where he teaches and researches the intersections of children’s literature, queer theory, and cultural studies. He is the author of a forthcoming book on queer young-adult literature and culture and the coeditor, with Kenneth B. Kidd, of Queer as Camp: Essays on Summer, Style, and Sexuality (Fordham University Press, 2019).
