Ekaterina Pravilova
Ekaterina Pravilova is professor of history at Princeton, specializing in 19th-century Imperial Russia. A native of St. Petersburg, Professor Pravilova received a PhD from the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1997. She was a research scholar at the Academy from 1995 to 2004. An assistant professor at the North-Western Academy of Public Administration from 1996 to 2002, she then served as an assistant professor at the European University at St. Petersburg from 2002 to 2006. She joined the faculty at Princeton as an assistant professor in the fall of 2006.
