Elizabeth Reich

Elizabeth Reich is assistant professor of film and media studies in the department of English at the University of Pittsburgh. She is author of Militant Visions: Black Soldiers, Internationalism, and the Transformation of American Cinema (Rutgers University Press, 2016) and coeditor of “Justice in Time: Critical Afrofuturism and the Struggle for Black Freedom” (under contract with Minnesota University Press). Her recent essays have appeared in ASAP Journal, Post45, Screen, African American Review, and Film Criticism. She serves on the editorial board of Film Criticism and is a contributing editor at ASAP/J. icon
