Gina Turrigiano

Gina Turrigiano is a professor of biology and neuroscience at Brandeis University, where she runs a research lab and teaches. She has published more than a hundred articles in the field of brain plasticity and has received numerous awards for her research, including a MacArthur fellowship and election to the National Academy of Sciences. She lives in Weston with her partner, Sacha, and two cats (Ramon and Santiago), and raised two sons who often come back to visit. She reads a lot. icon
