Iana Robitaille is a PhD candidate in English at the University of Texas at Austin, where her teaching and research focus on 20th– and 21st-century American literature, cultural studies, and histories of race, immigration, and citizenship in the US. She is writing a dissertation on inheritance and transnational memory in contemporary “heritage fictions.”
