Jesse Hawley

Jesse Hawley is an interdisciplinary artist and cofounder of the National Theater of the United States of America, with whom she shares her skills as designer, director, songwriter, choreographer, and performer. In addition to the NTUSA, Hawley has worked with notable theater artists Richard Foreman, Juliana Francis Kelly, Ken Nintzel, Mallory Catlett, Yehuda Duenyas, Normandy Sherwood, Young Jean Lee and Erik Ehn. She illustrated the book Animals vs. Furniture (2013), written by Normandy Sherwood, and was a 2016 MacDowell Colony fellow. (Artist portrait by by the artist) icon
