Kathleen Blee is Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Bailey Dean of the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. She has published widely on the Ku Klux Klan and other far-right politics, including the books Women of the Klan: Racism and Gender in the 1920s (1992) and Inside Organized Racism: Women in the Hate Movement (2002).
