Lauren Elkin is a French and American writer, critic, and translator. Her books include Scaffolding, Art Monsters, and Flâneuse, and she has translated work by Simone de Beauvoir, Colombe Schneck, Michelle Perrot, and Constance Debré, among others. She lives in London.
