Lwando Scott

Lwando Scott, PhD, is a Next Generation Scholar at the Centre for Humanities Research at the University of the Western Cape. Lwando’s research focus is on what he loosely terms “queering the postcolony.” To develop this concept, Lwando engages, challenges, and stretches concepts such as decolonization, sexuality, gender, culture, and futurities in postcolonial South Africa. icon
