Meredith Shepard is a postdoctoral associate at the Yale University Council on African Studies. She received her PhD in English and comparative literature from Columbia University. Her dissertation, “The Art of Reconciliation in Rwanda,” is currently being revised into a book project on genres of reconciliation that recur across global post-conflict literatures.
