Olivier Dorlin

Olivier Dorlin received training in specialized translation, audiovisual adaptation (subtitling), and new media. He is ATER (Temporary Attaché of Teaching and Research) at the University of Évry-Paris Saclay. He is a member of the SLAM laboratory (Synergies Langues Arts Musiques) (EA4524) and is associated with the CoTraLiS team (Corpus, Traductologie, Linguistique, Sociétés) of the Texts and Cultures Research Center (EA4028) of the University of Artois. His research focuses on foreign languages, translation studies, and cinema applied to ecology. As part of his thesis, he studies the interactions between languages ​​and images in several contemporary cinematographic works dealing with different environmental issues. icon
