Patricia White is the Eugene Lang Research Professor of Film and Media Studies at Swarthmore College and the author of Uninvited: Classical Hollywood Cinema and Lesbian Representability (1999) and Women’s Cinema, World Cinema: Projecting Contemporary Feminisms (2015). She serves on the board of the non-profit feminist media arts organization Women Make Movies and the editorial collective of the feminist film journal Camera Obscura.
