Rachel Miller is a PhD Candidate at Ohio State University and the assistant editor for Inks: The Journal of the Comics Studies Society. Her research considers the intersection between teenage girls’ bedroom culture and feminist visual culture in the 1990s. Her essay on the comics diaries of Phoebe Gloeckner and Lynda Barry is forthcoming in the book Comics Memory: Archives and Style, out from Palgrave Macmillan in 2019.
