Dr. Rebecca Evans is an assistant professor of English at Winston-Salem State University. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Women’s Studies Quarterly, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Resilience, and The Cambridge History of Science Fiction. Her current book project examines contemporary American literature’s treatment of structural violence.
