Renyou Hou is an anthropologist and a postdoctoral fellow at CEPED (Université de Paris IRD) within the programs of the Agence nationale de la recherche. His dissertation, defended in 2018 at INALCO, focused on the transformations of the institution of marriage in contemporary rural China.
