Rick Baldoz

Rick Baldoz is an associate professor of sociology at Oberlin College. He is the author of The Third Asiatic Invasion: Empire and Migration in Filipino America, 1898–1946 (NYU Press, 2011). He is writing a book about the shifting contours of US immigration and citizenship policy from 1950 to the present, focusing on how geopolitical considerations have shaped the broader processes of American nation building. icon
