Robert Reid-Pharr teaches at the CUNY Graduate Center. He is the author, most recently, of Archives of Flesh: African America, Spain, and Post-Humanist Critique (2016). His essays have appeared in, among other places, American Literature, American Literary History, Callaloo, Small Axe, Social Text, Transition, the African American Review, Feminist Formations, and Art in America. He lives in Brooklyn.
