S. J. Pearce is an associate professor of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Literatures at New York University and has held research fellowships in Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania. Her first book, The Andalusi Literary and Intellectual Tradition (Indiana University Press, 2017), was the recipient of the La Corónica International Book Award. icon
