Sanaë Lemoine was born in Paris to a Japanese mother and a French father. She was raised in France and Australia, and now lives in New York. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and received her MFA in fiction from Columbia University. Her first novel, The Margot Affair, will be published by Hogarth on June 16, 2020.
