Victoria Ford Smith is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Connecticut, where she specializes in children’s and young adult literature and culture as well as 19th- and early 20th-century British literature. Her book-length study on adult-child collaboration in Victorian children’s culture is forthcoming with the University Press of Mississippi.
