Vinciane Despret

Vinciane Despret teaches in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Liège. Since her first fieldwork in 1991 she has raised the issue of “how science is done with animals.” She served as a commissioner for the exposition “Bêtes et Hommes” (Beasts and Men), held in the Great Hall of La Villette, Paris. Her last book, Que diraient les animaux, si … on leur posait les bonnes questions? (What Would Animals Say, If … One Asked Them Good Questions?) will be translated into English and published by the Minnesota University Press. icon
