Diego Arispe-Bazán is a PhD candidate in the department of anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. His research centers on understandings in contemporary Spain and Peru of  the period of Spanish colonization. He is one of the organizers of the Thinking Andean Studies conference series and a coproducer of the American Anthropological Association’s flagship podcast, Anthropological Airwaves. icon
